The Village Of Reminderville
With the adoption of the Village of Reminderville Charter, many changes began.
A Civil Service Commission has been instituted and will consist of three members who shall hold no other public office.
A Long-Term Community Development Committee is another newly created committee consisting of six (6) members (Mayor plus 5 residents). This group has the responsibility for creating a written long-range plan that will enhance the character and quality of life in the Village.
Openings on all committees occur periodically, so we encourage any and all residents who might be interested in serving the Village in any capacity to contact Linda Baker at 330-562-1234, M-F from 8am to 2pm. You may also ask questions and reach her via e-mail at lbaker@reminderville.com.
Thank you for your consideration and we look forward to hearing from you in the near future.
Reminderville was incorporated in February, 1955. The first municipal building was our initial Volunteer Fire Department, built by the 52 original families. In 1969 a new station was built next door and the original Fire Department building was converted to be our first Reminderville Village Hall. Both buildings were primarily built with funds raised by the Ladies Auxiliary. Mayor and Council operated there until, in our 50th Anniversary year, our current Municipal Center was dedicated on August 26, 2005.

The combined state-of-the-art Fire Station and Village Hall was built to meet the needs of Reminderville for many years to come. You are encouraged to visit the facility from 8:30 to 4:00 weekdays. For further information you can call 330-562-1234.
When you visit the Municipal Center you may meet some very key individuals who do a lot to keep the Village running. There is Linda Baker, Fiscal Officer, who keeps our financial and business requirements in order.
Another very key person is Barb Fischer, Administrative Secretary, who can tell you most anything you need to know about happenings in Reminderville and how to do things properly. She has almost 23 years with the Village. The two other Administrative Assistants, and Marian Kopas, diligently deal with inquiries and day to day affairs.
Through the years, when properties or funds became available, amenities have been added like Ray Williams Park (former 4-term Mayor) with its pavilion, and children's playground.

Reminderville's J.E.D.D. Agreement:
The Term JEDD, which stands for Joint Economic Development District, was created to facilitate economic development. The Village of Reminderville and Twinsburg Township entered into this agreement in 2003 and it will remain in effect until 2023. The agreement not only produces a great deal of revenue for the village and township, but it also allows both to share resources, reducing costs for both governments. The JEDD Board, made up of three representatives from Reminderville and three representatives from the Township, meet the first Thursday in March, June, September and December.
